For our day 2 in Bantayan, we decided to visit its nearby island- Virgin Island. We met a guy in Sta. Fe Wharf who offered us his number in case we wanted to go to this island. We called him up and asked him about how much the trip would cost us. Surprisingly, the boat ride costed only Php 1000. It's a fair price, to think the boat would wait for you all-day long.
Virgin Island is only 20-30 minutes away from Kota Beach Resort (yep, the boat driver picked us up at the resort we were staying in and dropped us there as well).
We had the island all to ourselves and the caretakers. There are a few cottages there and a place where you can cook your food (you have to pay a small amount of course).
Unfortunately, it was gloomy when we visited the island. In fact, it rained while we were there. But whatever. We still enjoyed the island.
Virgin Island is another "undiscovered" place, I know only a few who got to visit. For those who enjoy the beach and boat rides, this is definitely for you!
